By avoiding junk food, you can become a much healthier person. There are many steps on how you can avoid junk food, some of the steps are listed. The first step is to eliminate temptation at home by cleaning all junk food out of your cabinets at home. The second step is lay out healthful food on what your going to eat each day. The third step is set expectations for yourself.
By eating alot of junk food, you can gain excessive weight, and become an unhealthier person.

The dangers of gambling.

By turning the age of 21, not only can you buy alcohol but you can begin gambling too. There are many dangers to gambling. Some things that gambling can do to you is decrease your budget rapidly, and make you go into debt.
One man by the name of John said his biggest loss was this year in Las Vegas when he lost $2500 by playing craps.
You have to be very careful when entering a casino, because you can become addicted to going there and lose lots of money.

The need for recycling.

There are many reasons on why you should recycle your unwanted items. First off you can save lots of money by recycling. To recycle means to save virgin raw materials and to re-process already used products. Collective recycling costs about $60 per ton, while separate collecting is more that $150 per ton.
There are many different recycle bins, some of them are paper, plastic, glass, and alluminum.
By recycling our world would be alot cleaner.

Why we should wear seat belts in cars.

There are many good reasons why we should wear seatbelts. One reason is because the law tells us to do so, another one is that it can reduce injuries and save many lives. In the year 1984, car crashes left about 4,200 workers without any jobs. It also affects the lost of productivity, insurance, and medical costs to those individuals that do not wear their seat belt.
Over the past ten years, since the law was made for everyone to begin wearing seatbelts, there has been less highway injuries and fatalities have been dropped. As of December 1999, forty nine states including the District of Columbia had used the seat belt law in effect.
Parent's are the role models for the children of this time, so the state wants to encourage for everyone to buckle up for safety. No matter if you are the safest driver out there, there are other people out there that aren't.

After High School Plans

After high school, I want to begin college classes at Chesapeake and have a good job somewhere. Then I later want to transfer to a college in California to become an Interior designer. Ever since I can remember, I've always wanted to become an interior designer. When I go to my grandparents house, HGTV is usually always on the television. That is the main reason why I became so interested in this career choice.

Friends

My friends are what gets me through each day. I don't know what I would do without them. They help me through all my troubles each day. They are also there to comfort me when things go wrong. I think since I've began high school I've found out who my true friends are. Since high school, I've gained alot more friends too.

Favorite book

This book by Rachel Vail, is one of my favorites. I read this book in a day while on vacation with my friend. This book talks about the deals with high school, and all the drama. This book relates to our high school and people in many ways. This book will have you hooked in no time. I'm not a person that likes to read much, but I deffinately enjoyed reading this book.

Dream Vacation

This is my Dream Vacation spot, San Diego, California. This town is where my aunt and uncle live at. I've always wanted to go down there and visit. They also have two kids, so it would be lots of fun. My mom told me we might go down there this summer for vacation, but i'm not sure. I could do many different things down there such as: swimming, tanning, and babysitting my little cousins.

Dogs

Dogs are one of my favorite animals. I have a dog at home that looks just like this. Her name is Roxy, I received her as a present for my 15th birthday. I was so excited, because it was my first dog ever. This type breed of a dog stands around 12 inches at the shoulder and weighs between 3 to 7 pounds. It is said to look like a tiny fox.

Today was a boring day. Since we had snow last night, I thought we would have off school. My classes this semester aren't that hard. I have Government, English III Honors, Spanish two, and Computer Apps. II. I can't believe that next year I'll be a senior, the time has passed by so quickly. Tonight we're supposed to have a bad ice/snow storm so maybe we wont have to come to school tomorrow, who knows!
